January 25th – BFFFE Date

Hello Monday and another glorious week of split shifts. Usually I try and use my splits to get stuff done around the house, god knows as a home owner there is certainly no shortage of THINGS which need doing.  But today I had something MUCH more important to do, I had a date with my bestest bestie.

We went to Costco and had lunch and shopped and very likely annoyed other shoppers which is usually our goal.

Then we hit Michael’s which is always a treat for us and for those blessed enough to witness us in natural habitat.

We popped around a few other shops in the Crossing. You never know what new and interesting things we might find.

I love cool shit!

Then we hit Starbucks because no Meg & Aimee show is complete without our Statler and Waldorf impression. We should charge money for that shit!

It was a fantastic afternoon! Then I came home to discover that my new spacepants had arrive from Modcloth.  I am super excited because it has been scientifically proven that I play dodgeball better in my spacepants so Sunday I am going to kick all kinds of butt on the dodgeball court!

Day 352 – Dreams Come True

A year ago my bestest bestie and I had had a silly idea,  a way to see Christmas lights so we BOTH can see them and maybe enjoy a drink or two. Somehow that idea stuck and grew and finally tonight our idea came to life!  A new Christmas tradition was born. YAY!

Days 208 & 209 – It’s Clearly Selfie Season

Day 208 – Drunken Car selfie…. silliness ensues after an unplanned dinner date with my husband and a new unexpected cocktails!

Day 209- After a HELLA busy month I finally got to see my BFFFE! The last time we went so long without seeing each other was 13 years ago when she was away for a month.  Tonight was a great night of getting back to basics, car rides, ice cream and fart jokes. Love you MaiMai!

Day 157 – Life is too short for celery sticks!

I had the best date with my BFFFE tonight. It was the perfect way to cap a pretty much ideal Saturday (with the exception that my sweet baboo is three time zones away). There were times tonight I laughed so hard I cried. Aimee made me laugh so much I almost had my dessert come out of my nose. We went to 2 Doors Down for dinner and it was fantastic, amazing food and great service. Then we took a stroll down to the Board Room where Aimee trounced me at several board games. I could not have asked for a better date!
